My mother always told me, that one day I would blossom into a beautiful woman.

I never knew would she meant and it sounded a little to much me, and even a bit painful.

I thought to myself, “I will never blossom into a woman – I will always be just like I am now, I like the way I am now“…

Well, I was 100% stuck on being ME – no one was going to MAKE me change or BLOSSOM into something I didn’t want to.

As life went one, I found that I started changing – I started seeing new things happening to me.

I even (without knowing when), started to like BOYS…

Man was I surprised when I first saw, Jimmy Longbottom – I fell in love right away and had all sorts of questions for Mom.

Anyway, as time went by, I realized, I really have no choice in the matter.  My body is doing what it needs to do.

I started looking forward to the changes and that was when it hit me…

I gave my mother a big huge, and told her “Mom, I’ve decided that I DO want to become a woman, not because it’s what you want me to do, or anyone else – but because it’s what I want to do and what my body and mind need to happen for me to grow up and be just like you“…
